How to Make Your Blogger Blog Private

In the middle of my hiatus, I was inspired and went on a blogging spree.  Several posts appearing in just a couple of weeks.  Then the craziness of my situation caught up with me again and the post I promised on how to make your blog private never materialized.

Now that I'm back, it's time to keep that promise before I get started on the increasingly long list of blog posts I'd like to write.
If you haven't been following my previous posts, we're jumping into the middle of a Power Point presentation I gave a few months back on how to create a blog.  The entire presentation was too long for a single blog post, so I broke it up into bite-sized pieces.  You're welcome.

Unless you've been waiting months for this post.  Sorry about that.

We left off with a baby blog ready to go.  If you're looking to share with the world, you're set!  But what if you want only certain people to read your carefully crafted words?

It's time to make your blog private.

Most of these slides are self-explanatory, but it's no fun to just include a bunch of slides.  So I'll interject here and there...or everywhere.  Because I can.
It's obvious I'm no expert at editing photos.  Or drawing straight lines using a mouse.
More awesome editing.  I am awfully proud of that arrow, though.  It's even pointing in the right direction.
I would add more detailed information here, but I don't think it can get simpler than this.  If I'm wrong, let me know.
Part of me wants to start stroking my laptop and muttering, "My precioussss..."
If you're not sure, your readers are the people you actually want to see the blog.  You'll invite them and they have to accept the invitation.
Anyone can read blogs on Blogger, but to contribute to one, you need to have a Google account.  I've been told you don't, but everyone I've talked to has struggled to make it work otherwise.
If you're doing a blog where everyone contributes, you'll need to invite them.  If it's just you spouting off information (like I'm doing here), you can skip this step.

We're not going to get any more technical than this.  Mostly because we're reaching the extent of my digital expertise.  And because that was the last slide.  Actually, there was one more, but it was to promote my blog, which I don't need to do here since you're already reading it.

Promise kept!

Next week starts a series of posts to help get you organized.  I'm not talking about your closets and cupboards.  That will come later.  These next posts are to help get YOU organized - time management, meal planning, housecleaning schedule, budgeting, etc.  It's amazing how much easier life gets when you're the one dictating what happens and when instead of just going with the flow (and finding it flows right into a wall!).

Stay tuned...

And remember - if you love what you read, please share!
